Designed a house for under £230 for a state-level completion and won an award for the same.
The house used sustainable materials and was prepared according to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) guidelines.
It was well appreciated amongst the jury members.

As part of United Nations Volunteering, I designed the Annual report for DCI, Geneva which was well appreciated by everyone including the director himself. The recommendation letter by the director is attached beside the report.

Project | 03 Low-cost community toilet design
I was felicitated by the Gujarat Knowledge Society and Student Innovation Fund for my project on universal accessibility, low-cost housing and low-cost community toilet designs. My designs consisted of low-cost community toilets with 100% water recycling, designs for universal accessibility of various built environments and low-cost residential housing units.

As part of the Asian Paint's National Level Design competition, I was selected among the top 5 finalists for a space design. I advocated for the redesign of Public spaces by accommodating Placemaking principles to make it Age-friendly, people-friendly, active etc. Here is the moldboard from the presentation.

Project | 05 Low-cost Toilet Design
I won the Sanitation design competition for designing a toilet for under £55. It featured recycled bricks with a simple design that can be even used for remote areas with no drainage facilities. This design was then replicated for designing around 1 million toilets in remote areas in Gujarat, India.

Project | 06 Smartcity Design : Placemaking project for Jabalpur City- Park design, Street Design and Junction Design
Won national-level competition for park design, junction design and road design competition for Jabalpur Smartcity. Was felicitated by the Government of India and Jabalpur Municipal Corporation for the same. The designs are implemented on the Pilot level in the city.

Project | 07 Placemaking Project for Coimbatore Smartcity- Park Rejuvenation
Awarded a trophy for a park rejuvenation placemaking design in a national level competition by the Government of India and was felicitated by Municipal Commissioner Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan. The design was then implemented on the Pilot level in the city. The figure below shows one of the proposed solutions out of 30 solutions as the part of the redesign.

Awarded a National level Placemaking design prize by Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation Limited ( BSCDCL ) and the Government of India for redesigning Jawaharlal Nehru Park in Bhopal city. The designs are implemented on the ground.

Project | 10 Young Innovator Award for Recycled Bricks
I made the bricks with 60% recycled notes and 27% with slag waste. Thus, 87% of my brick was made of solid waste. During the two months of the Krusters Engineering competition, I made 45 attempts to create the brick using various waste materials. The uniqueness of the brick is that it is lighter than the regular ones and costs a bit less. Also, it uses up some of the waste that would otherwise damage the land. I was also nominated for the young scientist award at the institute of smart structures and Systems at IIsc, Bangalore for this innovation.

Did internship on Ahmedabad Metrorail project and prepared a detailed report along with drawings on the same. Analyzed detailed project reports, contract documents, feasibility, social and financial impacts, required approval for the project, tender preparation, consultant and contractor selection, project tracking, required formats for execution, safety in construction, and procurement process.

Project | 13 R.C.C Design of a Building

Location: Ahmedabad, India
Carried out the detailed reinforced concrete designing and detailing of the foundation, slab, column, beam and staircase. Prepared structural drawings of the element as per design. We used IS codes for the design and SP for the detailing purpose.
Software Used: AutoCAD, Staad Pro.

Project | 14 Metrorail project study
A detailed project report was made as part of our academic curriculum. It covered various stages of our chosen project: Ahmedabad Metrorail. It discusses in-depth, the stages like the conceiving stage, Development stage, Implementation stage and commissioning stage. The scope involved in the project was construction, testing and commissioning of Elevated Metrorail stations - 6 Nos (as listed below) including viaduct portion within the Station and Transition Spans on either side of the Stations on Reach R-1 of East-West corridor for MEGA Project: 1. SFRR (Structural Failure, Repair & Rehabilitation) deals with the detail study of failure of structures followed by the repair or rehabilitation.
• Our scope was as below:
1. Preliminary study of both Building type and Non-Building type structure.
2. Detail documentation of failure for building type structure and then suggest repair and rehabilitation methodologies. See it here.

Project | 16 Valuation Town Planning Scheme Study
Valuation of Kankaria Area- Valuation of Kankaria Area located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Carried out a Land use survey and mapping of Town Planning Scheme no. 9. Prepared a valuation report of the different properties. Compared the valuation rate with a market scenario and ready reckoner rate. Worked in a team of 4 members.

Carried out the detailed design of a French Truss. Prepared the quantity estimation with minimum wastage. The span of truss was 40 meters and the material was steel, the trust was made from 12 meter plates. It was designed for an industrial building. See Staad report here.

As a part of the Professional Practices for Engineers, we as a team built a startup idea on the construction industry and prepare the feasibility report, did a survey etc. Startup name: "Procure it" online platform for the procurement of building materials and provision of construction workers. It included a business model canvas, Market research, Target customer estimation, Cashflow and revenue generation analysis, TRIM & AEIOU framework, SWOT analysis, TWOS matrix. See it here.
