Hi, I am Jil and I am passionately curious. I am an enthusiastic and equity-driven PhD scholar, Urban and Regional Planner, construction technologist. My PhD in Urban Studies at Heriot-Watt University is focussed on Policy Transfer mechanism in Landuse policies.

 

MY GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS
My greatest accomplishments include being awarded prestigious scholarships like the British Council Anniversary Scholarship to study Masters and James Watt Scholarship to study PhD at Heriot-Watt University- Edinburgh U.K. As a STEM ambassador, I was invited to meet PM of the UK - Theresa May at 10 Downing Street along with an invitation to House of Commons. I am currently working on the Solar Decathlon competition house as part of SDME2020 team Team Esteem from Heriot-Watt University. I strive to design and deliver equitable, inclusive and sustainable communities.

MY SPECIALITIES
My specialities include construction technology, planning, project management, design and development, graphic design, research and analysis. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, as well as project management and leadership experience.Skilled in NVivo, GIS, Microsoft Office, Windows, Project, Green building, LEED etc.
Areas of interest include Urban, Transport and Infrastructure Planning, Policymaking, Housing, Governance and Advocacy. I am a Team player and a strong believer in organised hard work.
